One of Nigeria’s songstress, Azeezat and her husband, who also doubles as her manager are currently crying out for help. They claim there have been some people who are after their lives for reason best known to them. In a text message sent to me by her husband, Seyi Allen, which I’m sure he also forwarded to other journalists, he says ‘ Azeezat and I have been getting serious threats to our lives through phone by guys who claim to be armed robbers/assassins asking for N2million’. The second message went thus, when I asked him to expatiate. ‘They first called around 1am Monday night, saying they were waiting outside our gate. They called back later saying, they would come back another day to kill us all’, he said. Na wa o. We pray the protection of God be upon them. It is the enemy you know that you fight, what about the one you don’t? God help us all.
