It was indeed a sad day for people who witnessed the accident that occurred at around 4:01pm today along Enugu-Onitsha expressway. It was gathered that a trailer conveying unknown goods to Onitsha was the cause of the accident. The trailer’s brake failed and killed four people at the spot. It also damaged 21 vehicles in the process. A motorcyclist, hawker and a child beggar were among the four people that died, while the vehicles that were damaged were mostly commercial buses and some private ones too.
