MURDERED UNIPORT STUDENTS, Tekena's Sister Speaks

We have heard and read a lot of different stories about how four Uniport students were gruesomely murdered. The sister of one of the murdered boys was present at the scene and narrated what happened on Cool Fm this morning. Here are some of what she said and was also reported on Nigeria Info 99.3 Facebook page.

* Tekena was given 15,000 Naira to go to school the day before so she doesn't believe he could have been involved in theft. Besides, none of the items they were said to steal could be found.

* Tekena was indeed a student of University of Portharcourt contrary to some reports that they weren't students.

* The Police were allegedly at the scene of the incident and when the mob told them the young men were killers, they gave their 'go ahead'.

* No arms were found on the four young men as confirmed by the JTF who brought their bodies to the mortuary.

Click below to see the picture of her brother Tekena who was killed and now buried in the forest because he was beaten and burnt beyond recognition and according to their custom they won't be able to bury him in town. A family member also spoke.

“Yes, he’s been buried.” The family member confirmed, “We recovered his body and we stitched it the best as we could… It’s shocking the amount of brutality he and those boys endured. His body was beaten beyond repair, but yes, we’ve buried him. We’re from Kalio Ama in Okirika Local Government Area, and in our custom, if you have endured the brutality, injuries and violence Elkannah endured, your body cannot be buried in town. So our 19-yr old boy was taken across and deep into the forest to be buried.”
