Have you bought your Tickets! Dbanj To Perform For An Hour With Live Band At TOP10MICS

Fresh off his 2012 MOBO Awards success where he was named ‘Best African Act’ for his song, ‘Oliver Twist’, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly called Dbanj will perform at this year’s music concert, TOP10MICS for one hour with a live band as the concert holds at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island , Lagos on Friday, November 30, 2012.

Before now, most artistes perform to a CD and a skeletal band but the major highlights at this year’s music concert would be live performances from headlining acts; Tuface Idibia, Femi Kuti and Sir Shina Peters.

Producer of this year’s TOP10MICS, Omoh Talabi, and the face behind many flourishing concerts in Nigeria will be working closely with the Kokomaster at Koga Studios as the MOBO winner prepares for this memorable concert that has been tipped by many as the mother of all shows.

The concert will also feature performances from DJs Jimmy Jatt and Neptune, disc jockeys who know their onions in the industry. Ace comedian, Basket Mouth would host the concert, radio presenter; Yaw would also be at the concert. Pls click to continue.


The producer of the concert, Omoh Talabi has a few words to say about this year’s concert ‘I have produced many concerts but I dare say this year’s edition of TOP10MICS will be extraordinary as it promises to be an unusual concert. Like other concerts where headlining acts perform for a few minutes, TOP10MICS would be different as each artiste would perform for more than 40minutes with live bands, that is the makeup of big concerts these days’’.
Anu Awoseyi, an official of Koga gave more insight ‘Omoh came on board to further add gusto to this year’s edition, the preparation for the event is enormous judging by the preparations of the performing artistes, all in a bid to give the audience something very classy and unusual’’.

The household of Tuface Idibia seems to be at peace at the moment. Contrary to the frequent fights that occur between his babymamas, things seem to have gone a better way between them now. As most of us know, Pero Adeniyi, Sumbo Ajaba and Annie Macaulay are the three ladies who have borne kids for the music star. Though not much public fight has occurred between Sunmbo and Annie, the two weren’t on talking terms until lately, a source said. These days, Sumbo and the fast rising actress, Annie communicates frequently on the phone asking about the wellness of each other. With this good faith, they both took their kids out some weeks back, on a Sunday evening to have a little but long family reunion as seen in the picture above. Our source also said the two ladies are getting along very well, except for the fact that Pero and Annie are sworn enemies, and this may remain for a long time. It will also be recalled that, they are the only two ladies who have fought publicly over Tuface times without number. Indeed the Idibias would be glad that, peace is gradually returning between the babymamas.

Tuface’s Mistresses Fight for Attention on Internet

It was indeed a war of attention between Tuface Idibia’s baby moms, Annie Macaulay and Sunmbo Ajaba. They both scuffled for attention on the social network device, twitter as Tuface; the father of their kids was announced winner for Best International Act alongside D’banj at the just conducted BET Awards. First it was Sunmbo who kept singing praises of the father of her two boys. Telling who ever cared to read her tweets about how proud she is, of the musician. She even went as far as typing his native names while praising him.

Soon, she began to receive congratulatory messages on behalf of the singer who was absent on the social network as at that time. And before anyone could say jack, Annie who got hold of what was going on, quickly took to her twitter page, sending congratulatory messages to Tuface and the whole of Nigeria. Her messages didn’t stop until she began to receive compliments from people which also geared her up to say more words to the man she has once referred to has her one time lover. Here is one of the many lines she sent out, ‘Congratulations dear, and to all the good people that prayed for you. Me plus Africa we are proud of you’. And a glimpse from Sunmbo’s words, ‘hard work pays, but the blessings of God makes us rich and adds no sorrow. I pray your latter shall be more beautiful’. You will agree with me that these two ladies are still pretty in love with the singer.

Spotlight: Baby mamas to 9ice & Tuface. Read what a ‘bird’ has to say about them. What these two have in common is they both have music stars as husbands. Toni Payne was married to no be mistake crooner, 9ice while Sumbo Ajaba happens to be one of tuface’s baby mama’s. Unknown to many, these two are very good close friends and even when some of Toni’s friends turned their backs against her for separating with 9ice, she was always there for her, giving her words of encouragements. Not too long ago, they were both spotted at Toni’s grandma’s birthday party, where Sumbo was of great assistance to her. Here’s hoping they make their friendship bolder to the world and in any case, we wish them a happy friendship.

Tuface attends Award ceremony with third family

According to a source that brought my notice to this picture, says ‘Annie is still winning, and no one should be shocked if another baby comes in soon’. The singer attended the Touch of Genius Award ceremony where he was honoured alongside his third family, Annie Macaulay and Isabel their daughter. They were seen chatting happily and one who have doubted if Tuface had any other family elsewhere. They looked so happy together, Annie wore her best smile, while the little girl posed in front of many cameras, she said.

Grow Some Hair

There’s this new act in the music industry, and I hear he just got signed on to Kennis Music. His name is Joe Everlasting, who his friends refer to as Jol El. This guy as the pic says it all is a splitting image of Tuface Idibia.

In his new single, I No Mind, Joe sounded like Tuface, while is promotional video has seen several fans of Tuface mistaken him for the multi award winner.

I’m not angry about this, as resemblance isn’t a sin. But to try and sound and even have the same hair cut with this guy, its not right and that's a sin.

I advise Joe El, to please grow some hair, so their fans could spot a difference. And if you don’t yield to advice, then keep living under another man’s shadow, and let’s see how many awards you will get.

Tuface Daughter, Isabel Clocks Two

Isabel Idibia, Tuface and Annie Macaulay’s daughter has clocked two years old on the 10^th. of this month.  Indeed, time really flies. I could still recall the news of Annie getting pregnant for the music star, and when she gave birth in the United States.

Back to my gist, a little party was thrown at Annie’s home for the little girl. And guess who kept calling in? It was no other person than controversial actress Tonto Dike. She told everyone who cared to listen that Enenu, as Isabel is fondly called, is her god daughter. Annie and Tonto have been friends for a while now, but their friendship became deeper when Tonto almost went naked on stage with Tuface Idibia at his just concluded show held in his honour at Eko Hotel and Suites. We learnt Annie was delighted that Tonto accepted to play the role along side her baby daddy. A bird in the know also brought to our knowledge that she is the one solidly behind Annie and making sure she gets the few roles she is getting now in Nollywood. That’s why observing birds don’t get bothered whenever they spot Annie at Nollywood parties, as she always attend on Tonto’s invite. They have also been spotted together hanging out with Isabel. Here’s wishing the little damsel happy more years ahead.

2face & Mikel Obi At War?

So Tuface and football star Mikel Obi are at war. It was gathered that the two stars met at an event in London, and on sighting Mikel, Tuface went to show some love, before Mikel quickly turned his back at him. According to tatafos carrying this rumour around town, the football star was quickly alerted by people around him, that Tuface is a Nigerian music star, and the dude still refused to utter a word. Tuface in his usual manner smiled and kept on having fun with people present all hailing him. This same tatafo’s insist that, Tuface ‘only you’ hit song was directed to the football star. Here are some of the lyrics of the song in English translation. "Don’t think it is only you that would be rich, don’t think it is everybody that will play football". How sad. But Tuface publicist have since denied the story, saying its not true. But if indeed this is true, I think this roforofo should stop now, before it gets out of hand.

Annie Macaulay On Motherhood.

Annie Macaulay one of Tuface’s Babymamas recalls when she was single, and now that she is a mom. According to her, she says she is at work (undisclosed job) outside Lagos, but her baby who she prefers to call Enenu instead of Isabel that everyone knows her to be is in Lagos and so, she is missing her. Here are the words she tweeted.
