Insiders revealed the expanse of land, located in Ojiya/Sapati, along Epe area of Lagos state are held in trust by the Elomoro family for political godfather of lagos state politics Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Senator Gbenga Ashafa is one of the 'anointed sons' of the heavy weight politician.
A clear indication of the favour he enjoys is evident in how he clinched his current position.
One of the nation's brightest and most vibrant law maker, Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora was made to step down for green horn- Ashafa.
 An addition to this are talks of a possible governorship position.
The land acquisition he arranged as boss of Lands Bureau was made under the banner 'family land'

Sources claim the deal is such that Asiwaju Tinubu through the machinations of Ashafa have ample access to the lands.
Insiders revealed the expanse of land is now being carved out to favoured friends and cronies of Asiwaju Tinubu.
Senator Gbenga Ashafa, who assumed his present position immediately from his portfolio as Permanent Secretary Lands Bureau refused to comment on the matter when contacted.
