The young star just acquired a black 2009 V8 engine mid-size luxury crossover BMW X6. He posted the picture on his instagram page and said ''My new baby!!!''. Big congrats to him.

Did Wizkid Call Bloggers Fools?

Yea, cus the only people who have published the story are mostly bloggers. Here is what he said when OKNigeria Magazine asked him on twitter if he actually insulted D’banj;

The fake tweet: baby (D’Banj), when are you going to sing with Kanye now? I hate the way he (Kanye) is using you as Akpan. See P-Square chilling with Rick Ross. Haba!”

And his response? 

“used to have a lot of respect for you guys, but you all just proved a bunch of fools. Run your sh*t! Get your facts right!”

Is he right to have called Journalists/bloggers a fool? The same people who promote him?

Wizkid, Banky W, Lead Niyola, Skales, Others On EME Album

The first-ever EME all-stars album is done and ready to be unleashed. Featuring solo and collaboration appearances by all EME acts and select friends of the house, the album, already titled ‘Empire Mates State of Mind’, is a 22-tracked LP that boasts some of the finest tracks to come out of Nigeria this year. The label says it took almost one year to put the EME album together, and fans who have had a preview listen admit the materials are ‘a collector’s item’.

The album, to be released exclusively on Spinlet on Monday June 18, features the core EME Artistes: Banky W, Wizkid, Skales, Niyola, Shaydee, DJ Exclusive, as well as prime guest appearances from Affiliates such as Ghana-Based Rapper XO Senavoe and US-Based Singer/Actor Rotimi. The album also contains three fun skits by comedian Basketmouth.

‘We’re very proud of the EME Album. We took our time to put together a fantastic blend of our talents as a collective, while also showcasing what each artiste is able to do individually. It felt like the right time to drop this record; each artiste is bringing his/her A-game, and the production quality is out of this world. ‘Empire Mates State of Mind’ boasts production from Nigeria’s finest talents including Banky W, Masterkraft, Legendary Beats, Spellz, Sarz, Shizzy and Kid Konnect.

The album is available, for free, from Monday June 18, on Spinlet, Nigeria’s premiere digital distribution platform.

E.M.E Signs Niyola as First Lady

Niyola has officially become the first lady of E.M.E. She will be featuring in the forthcoming E.M.E album compilation which as Wizkid, Skales and Banky W on it. The album will also be released this month.  Hmm, good move.

Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, W4 To Perform At Etisalat Cutting Edge Masterbrand Launch

On April 5,Global telecommunications giant Etisalat is set to launch  the cutting edge Masterbrand barcodes  at the Zinnia Hall, Eko Hotel,  Lagos.  The barcodes are in form of a QR code which is one of the most popular types of two-dimensional barcodes.  It was designed to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. The launch will end weeks of speculation on the presence of trendy looking barcodes that were seen all over metropolitan Lagos.

According to Global telecommunications giant Etisalat “The barcodes are set to provide speedy and effortless access to Etisalat on the internet. In other words, these barcodes narrow the information gap between Etisalat and its subscribers online.”

The event will have in attendance the CEO of Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Steve Evans who will deliver a short speech on ‘The brand journey so far.’ To add spice to the event, there will be live performances from Nigerian Idol host and musician Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, ChuddyK and W4. The first ever Nigerian Idol, Yeka Onka will be on hand to perform at the event as well as current Nigerian Idol contestants. A cutting edge fashion show and comedy skits by popular comedians will also be part of the evening’s entertainment. The event will be kicked off by a glitzy black carpet.

Basket Mouth collaborates with Eldee, Wizkid in new song

Lol, though have heard before now that the comedian would soon drop a single where he actually rapped. Sources are however saying the new song features eLDee and Wizkid.

Hehehe, Amber Rose just dropped one where she featured Wiz khalifa, hehehe ‘I haf die’, and am still here not even out with one song! Hmm, hope some music producers are reading this, hian ‘studio, here I come’. Lol

P Square’s Son Cameron is 3, Celebrates Birthday

Babydaddy, Peter of P Square was at his son’s school. The boy Cameron clocked 3 today and so mum (Lola Omotayo) and dad went to show him love at school. Peter further more surprised his son when he invited Wizkid to be part of the fun, as he claims, Cameron is a fan.
