We decided to pay a visit to the sick man, but we were shielded by nurses on duty who said we can only see him on the authorization of his wife or children. A strong source however confirmed to us at the hospital that indeed, Mr. Benjamin is admitted there and it is true he is also on wheel chair. He however said he is not sure about when the singer’s father will be discharged as his health still needs a lot of medical attention, while disclosing his wife pays him a visit occasionally, unlike the way he was abandoned when he first fell ill. |

Star Maga Jam 2011, Cancelled
The 2011 edition of the annual Nigerian Breweries sponsored musical concert, Star Mega Jam has been cancelled. According to a press statement signed by the organiser's Corporate Affairs Adviser, Yusuf Ageni, the concert was cancelled because some logistic challenges could not be overcome. The company regrets all inconveniences this will cause the fans, who have been eagerly awaiting this year's edition of Star Mega Jam.
The concert which is usually headlined by an international act have had the likes of Shaggy, Usher Raymond, Koffi Olumide, Ja Rule, Kevin Little, LL Cool J, Akon, Kanye West, T-Pain, Nas, Nelly, Busta rhymes, Ludacris and most recently R.Kelly perform in Nigeria.
This will be the second major annual entertainment event to be cancelled this year after reports revealed that the Sound City Music Video Awards will not hold this year too.

Orezi Arrested For Cocaine In Dubai, It Is Not true… Record Label
The news in town last week was about how fast rising star, and the hit maker of I no fit lie Orezi, was arrested and detained at Dubai International Airport for a huge substance believed to be cocaine. According to a reliable source, Orezi was in Dubai for an event organised by Team Syrup Music which took place on Thursday Nov. 24th, 2011. The source however confirms that the rumour is a lie and the artiste is doing fine in faraway Dubai.
His record label CEO, Mr Kolade also took to his Facebook page to react to the rumour;
Early this morning I was woken up with calls about my artiste, Orezi who is presently in Dubai for a performance was caught with Cocaine @ Dubai airport. We the management of Culbeed Music are not aware of this incident and have been in discussions with our artiste who is a law abiding citizen of this country. Robbers Struck At GTBank Sabo, Kills Student, Many Others Injured

It's a day many would not forget for as long as they live, when terrifying looking men of the underworld struck in broad daylight at a branch of GTBank, Sabo, Sagamu in Ogun State on November 24, 2011, carting away a substantial amount of money, value of which has not been fully ascertained and in the wake of the dare-devil attack they left pain, anguish and irreparable sorrow.
The heavily armed robbers were said to announced themselves early yesterday morning by shooting sporadically into the air to scare all and sundry and caused commotion, in the pandemonium that ensured, they had easy access to the bank, and carted away a yet to be disclosed, but thought to be large amount of money and other valuables they could lay hands on. In the aftermath, several of the bank staffs were said to have been injured, several fatality was recorded in their bid to escape, unconfirmed report says about 10 people made up of vigilantes and bystanders were killed by stray bullets.
Curiously, we hear that apart from the fact that the money stolen and other valuables were INSURED, the staff members whose lives are constantly online in the course of their jobs do not enjoy the same privilege! . We tried getting the response of the GTBank spokesperson-Ogechi Nwachukwu on the development, but she didn't respond to our enquiry.
We also heard that the same rampaging marauders after escaping the scene of their dastardly act in order to escape from the Police detoured through Isara and came out through Konigbe Junction on Mini-Campus road (Olabisi Onabanjo University), and went on rampage again robbing the OOU Community Bank located along that road, in order to escape from that particular scene , they let loose several rounds of ammunition which caused pandemonium in that area, one of the confirmed casualties recorded of that particular incidence was a 400 Level student of the department of Chemical Science, who was supposed to submit his final year project today November 25,2011. Leye Balogun was said to have just come of the bathroom still in his towel, when he was hit by a stray bullet on his right side, he was later rushed to about 3 hospitals-Fountain Hospital, Ijesha road, OOU Health Center Mini-Campus road & later Ijebu-Ode General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
There seems to be the air of palpable fear in Ogun State right now, as robbers seem to be having a field day, just recently rampaging robbers entered the main campus of the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State, robbing 5 of the banks inside the campus of very large amount of money, wounding many and several unconfirmed number of people ( some say about 3 score and 10 people), were said to have met their untimely death. Robbers were also said to have robbed the Wema Bank branch inside Babcock University,Ilisan, Ogun State about 2 weeks ago.

Actor Yemi Solade Accused Of Sexual Harassment On Facebook
A U.S based married woman, Bunmi Ladipo is accusing star actor Yemi Solade of harassing her sexually, and she claims the actor sent her his nude picture even after turning down his advances.
According to the lady, their relationship started about a month ago when the actor sent her a friend request on Facebook. “I accepted the friend request because I could recognize him as an actor and I didn’t envisage he would later turn out to constitute a nuisance.”
The lady said Yemi started making passes at her and she bluntly told him that she was happily married to which the actor was said to have responded it’s no big deal because he is also married. To buttress her point, Mrs. Ladipo said she has a recording of their telephone conversation and might be forced to release a graphic image of his partially erected JT.
Denying the claim, Yemi Solade said it was the lady in question that was actually harassing him and got upset when he removed her from his friends list on the social network.
“She is simply a fraudster. She lied to me that she is a lawyer in U.S, but with the way she was speaking, it is obvious that she is not one. She had been disturbing me on Facebook and bb (blackberry) until I deleted her. I’m sure that is why she is saying all these.
“I’m an actor and can take pictures without wearing a shirt or just with boxer shorts, so what she is saying is irrelevant. Even if I want a relationship, there are many ladies here in Nigeria that I could date, not someone like her. I don’t want to join issues with a faceless person like her, so let’s forget it. I don’t even know her.”

Kenny Ogungbe Shuns D1 At BON Awards
Even though the duo of Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye has denied having issues together, eye witnesses at the just concluded BON Awards have said this two don’t talk. According to them, the two broadcasters who arrived at different times were watched closely by guests at the awards ceremony carefully to be able to know the true side of the story. And alas, D1 and Kenny never exchanged pleasantries and sat far away from each other, with Kenny having KSB by his side and some members of his crew.
Julius Agwu how ever let the bubble burst when he called on the duo to present an award. D1 according to eye witnesses went on stage but Kenny refused to honour the call and was quickly replaced with actress Halima Abubakar, which left a lot of people concluding things have indeed gone sour between them. Abuja Big Babe, Flora Okeke Arrested For Prostitution At Protea Hotel
A new trend is spreading into the life of big babes in the country. And the act is becoming rampant in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Informed source said she got enrolled in a United Kingdom University to study law which the politician was said to have spent about 25million naira.

We learnt Flora also became so desperate in hooking men of power and money. Sources say one of the men she was able to get was the former Niger Delta Development Corporation boss, Timi Alaibe and one Kano State based Air Force Officer named Jameel.
One of Flora’s friends showed yemojanews.com a picture she took at Jameel’s Abuja home during her sexual exploit where she posed with the military man’s red colored Ferrari car and posted it on her Blackberry display picture (dp) that the man will soon give her the car.
We were also told that Flora recently sent a text message to one of her friends that she was ready to have sex with Senate President David Mark without using condom if he is ready to pay 2million naira cash.
And in a desperate mission, Flora reportedly visited the National Assembly complex to find a link to the Senate President, but was not allowed into the complex by the security operatives.
However, yemojanews.com gathered that on October 15, 2011, Flora’s game was exposed and was caught red handed by the Police in the Federal Capital Territory.
Yemojanews.com investigators informed that on that fateful day, Flora had arranged with one of her clients whom she had never met before for sex, and had agreed to the price of $4,000 for an all night rounds of sex.
The meeting place was Protea Hotel, Wuse 2, and every other thing was put in place for a sweet time.
But unknown to Flora, the Abuja Police have placed her on surveillance, after many reports of her prostitution adventure had reached the authority.
So, the police had been monitoring her movement and she was trailed to Protea Hotel on the day she was to meet her customer.
According to sources, Flora was in the hotel room, stark naked with her client when the police forced their way into the room and arrested her and the customer. The $4,000 she got from her client was also seized and to be used as exhibit against her in the court.
After the arrest, Flora was taken to Maitama Police Station where she was detained, and an incident of prostitution was filed against her at the Police Station.
According to witnesses, Flora’s father who also lives in Abuja, and the lawmaker were later invited to the Police Station to see with their own eyes what she had turned her life to.
The source informed us that Flora could not look her father in the eyes at the Police Station while the ex-lawmaker felt heartbroken and disappointed in her.
yemojanews.com learnt the police wanted to take the case to court, but after several pleas by the father, as well as the lawmaker who pleaded that Flora has a child for him, and wouldn’t want the stigma to live with the son throughout his life, the police decided to drop the case, but warned that Flora will not get a second chance if she got caught again.
After her release from the Police Station, yemojanews.com learnt that the lawmaker kicked Flora out of his home, collected his son from her, and washed his hands completely off her life.
Flora’s friend who gave yemojanews.com this story said that she is now biting her fingers, ‘’she is just roaming the streets of Abuja now, jumping from one man’s bed to the other and collecting money.. Flora is just a stupid girl. She got everything on a platter of gold, but her insatiable appetite for money has landed her where she is now. See how ‘runs’ has ruined her,’’ the lady lamented.
