Happy New Year People

Special shout outs to the readers of this blog. Thanks for making year 2011 worth it for us. To be honest you guys have done more than the expected to take the blog to where it is today. We are not up to a year and half and the recognition the blog has gotten is far beyond us.

It’s been so humbling comparing us with giant blogs as BellaNaija and Linda Ikeji.

To everyone who has contributed to this little piece of mine (blog), intellectually, financially and in every other form I want to say a BIG thank you. May this 2012 bring us success and prosperity, Amen.

He alongside his thugs beat up the young singer (jaywon), and since he couldn’t over power them, he was seriously injured. I hear he is presently hospitalized.

How Gbenga Ashafa Stole 700 Hectares Of Land For Tinubu

Iris medical foundation ceo, Paul Ojeih is dead

Popular alternative medicine practitioner, Dr. Paul Olisa Ojeih, the Chief Executive Officer of IRIS Medical Foundation is dead.

The alternative medicine practitioner died last night of cardiac arrest after a protracted battle with kidney and liver ailment. He was said to have been placed on oxygen for about 48 hours before he eventually passed on. He was known for his claims of curing HIV/AIDS and also anchored a television programme that treated alternative health issues.

Cross River to sue US rapper

The Cross River State Government has hired lawyers in the United States to sue rapper, Rick Ross, for breach of contract. The government stated this in a BlackBerry Messenger broadcast on Wednesday morning. Ross was expected to perform today at the Calabar Festival but failed to turn up for unknown reasons.

The BBM broadcast reads, "‎​Please be informed that Rick Ross has cancelled his performance at Calabar Festival after accepting full performance fee.

"The rapper, Rick Ross, has issued a statement cancelling his performance at the Calabar Festival, scheduled for December 28, 2011, for reasons not related to his recent surgery and seizures.  "The performer’s cancellation is unexpected and the reasons are unknown to Cross River State since he has confirmed receipt of his entire performance fee many weeks ago.

"Currently, Cross River State and its agents have retained counsel in the United States to pursue their legal and monetary remedies against the artist."

Please I need your help and assistance! On Friday night, my driver was returning home with the children after celebrating a birthday dinner out. A hurried Red|Burgundy Hummer Jeep with private Abuja Registration- AKOGUN hit my car from behind. He tricked my driver to drive to Mobil on the expressway by Lagos|Ibadan toll gate for them to chat. The Hummer driver drove off and my driver chased them. When he managed to block them, this Akogun man brought out a spray substance and sprayed both my driver and the 3 children in the vehicle temporarily blinding them and leaving them disorientated. The man's wife was present in the Hummer in addition to a personal assistant and their driver. Please I need to know the identity of this maniac or the movement of this Hummer Jeep. Any help to broadcast this anomaly will be greatly appreciated. Apparently he also said he had a gun and threatened to shoot the driver knowing full well there were small children in the car, the youngest being 7yrs old. That actress Sikiratu Sindodo is back to her feet is no longer news, but that she is back on the social scene is indeed news. A lot of people would have thought the actress on getting back to her feet would reduce her social outings, but that is far from the truth. Kelly Hansome involved in ghastly auto crash

In the midst of celebrations, Kelly Hansome informed his fans on twitter about how he was involved in a ghastly auto crash, but the Lord saved his life. He kept tweeting pics of the damaged car and one of him at a hospital with a nurse attending to him.

Between, some people are of the opinion that the story from the singer is not true, as the car was badly damaged beyond repair leaving him with almost no wound. They say the pictures do not look like an accident scene and might just be another stunt to keep him relevant in the industry.

Nigerian Air Hostess Arrested with Cocaine at Heathrow

An air hostess for Arik Air, Ms Chinwendu Uwakaonyenma Ogbonnaya, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Sunday over an allegation of smuggling four kilogram’s of cocaine into the United Kingdom.

The airline promptly promised to support the British police and the magistrates in the matter even as it regrets that the incident is the first involving its crew.

A statement by the British High Commission in Abuja Tuesday said the drug was discovered in an item of luggage conveyed by 30-year-old Ogbonnaya.

“She had arrived into Heathrow Terminal 4 having travelled on an Arik Air flight from Lagos in Nigeria,” the statement said, adding that she was charged with attempting to import a class A substance, and appeared before Uxbridge Magistrate court Tuesday.

The British High Commission quoted the Director of UK Border Agency operations at Heathrow, Marc Owen, as saying: “UK Border Agency officers are on constant alert, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to keep class A drugs and other banned substances out of the UK.”

According to him, the agency is determined to prevent this terrible trade which can have “such a destructive impact on the lives of so many”.

Messy: Suzy Q throws D’Prince out of Club Jonzing

Things have indeed fallen apart between Susan Yusuf a.k.a Suzy Q and D’Prince. It will be recalled that Susan wanted something better for her club and invited D’Prince over. D’Prince took up the job and with the help of Susan and the club name was changed to Club Jonzing, but of course with an agreement in place.

According to Olorisupergirl, Susan is not pleased with the way the club is been managed by D’Prince and to make matters worse money wasn’t flowing in like she expected. And so, decided to throw him out.

The two sides were contacted, hear them;

Susan: She does not want to disclose the amount of the money D'Prince is owing her and that she was not impressed with the progress of the club. She also confirmed to us that she had several meetings with him and he promised to change things but she didn't see any improvement. So she changed the name from Club Jonzing to Club SQ. She also said she sent him a quick notice in October.

D’Prince: Speaking through a representative; "They do not owe her a PENNY and that she is cooking up the story to defend herself. She is a terrible person and that Suzy did not disclose anything about the accounts to them. She did not allow us check the accounts too. To clear all this , they are no longer  associated with SUZY SQ anymore and we do not owe her a PENNY. That right now, D'Prince is focusing on his tour in January 2012. In conclusion, It is a fabrication to tie D’Prince down" she said.

This is coming just three months after the highly publicized Club Jonzing.

Another Bombshell Hits Nollywood, Oby Edozieh’s Newly Married Husband Is A Married Man

Alex Okoroigwe who recently got married to Nollywood actress Oby Edozie in a secret ceremony is actually married to a lady in South Africa by the name of Fathima. Since breaking the story, we’ve managed to get pictures of Alex and his original wife Fathima; and have dug up more information on what is fast emerging as a clear cut case of bigamy, greed, deception and child abandonment.

Fathima is an Indian lady of South African citizenship who Alex met in Singapore while she was working and he was looking for an opportunity to better his life. They got married in Singapore on the 7th of November 2001 and have a 3 year old child.

To show you the extent of Alex’s deception, he left their matrimonial home in South Africa on the pretext of going to Nigeria to establish his business and make arrangements for a US visa – imagine her surprise when she read on the internet that her husband and father of her child  had gotten married to another woman!

According to our sources, he has lived off her all these years, even selling her car and keeping the money. Apparently, it was she who funded his trip to Nigeria – adding further salt to a festering wound.

In Fathima’s words, Alex is a “TWO TIMING CHEATER…LOVE OLD SAD NIGERIAN WOMEN WHO NEED A MAN AND HAVE LOTS OF MONEY!!”

One would have thought when the police wadded in and settled the differences between Ladi and Charles concerning the ownership of Chrome night club, nothing would be heard of it afterwards. Ahize is however back at it. We learnt he has re-arrested Ladi Akindele because the last judgment favoured Ladi. Whichever way, this is a bad rep for Chrome night club who had almost all the big names in the society and entertainment industry in attendance at the opening of the club. We don’t know the two parties involved, but if you ask us, we think Ladi is finer facially, lol. Pls ignore me.
