FG To Reopen 3rd Mainland Bridge On November 6

The Federal Ministry of Works Thursday said all sections of the 3rd mainland bridge will be opened to traffic on November 06, 2012.  It would have been opened last week like they promised, but construction men couldn't meet up with time.

Inspector General of Police Resigns

God help Nigeria. The Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim has tendered his resignation letter this morning to the Federal Government. The new IG is now, former commissioner of Police, Lagos State, MD Abubakar. He wasn’t the only one that resigned, but six other DIG’s also tendered their resignation letters.

DAY 5: Meeting between FG and Labour ends in Deadlock

The meeting held yesterday behind closed doors between Labour parties and the Federal Government ended in deadlock. The two parties could not reach an agreement and so the strike continues. Another meeting would be held tomorrow, Saturday.

We hope GEJ’s Government will do what Nigerians are demanding and also remove fuel subsidy, so we can continue with our day to day activities. It’s bad enough we are in darkness now and most people have started complaining about being broke.
