It was a night of attitude, swag and style as one of Nigeria’s leading telecommunications network, Etisalat unveiled its new brand communication campaign in grand style. From decor to cocktails, every detail had style and finesse. The evening hosted guests that included Tiwa Savage, Prime Time Entertainment Boss; Dayo Adeneye, Nigeria's sweetheart and Judge on Nigerian Idol; Yinka Davies, Sasha, Lynxx, Olu Maintain, amongst others. The revealing of the latest brand of Etisalat was led by the Chief Commercial Officer of Etisalat, Mr Wael Ammar and was taken over shortly by the Director of Brands and Communication, Mr. Enitan Denloye, who stated that the new brand communication campaign, was a new way of expressing the new 0809ja and Etisalat. The various new commercials were shown ranging from the soundtrack, the music video, the television commercials and many more.
Even the performances were laced with the new attitude; Tiwa Savage dazzling the audience with her 10 blokes, as W4 took control, MI thrilling the audience and Wande Coal performing for the first time in a while closed the show with a big bang! It was definitely not low key. The Top 2 contestants of Nigerian Idol Season two also thrilled the audience with a Duet with Praiz and comedian Buchi was at hand to get the guests rolling off their seats.
To crown all the attitude and swag was a never before seen fashion show by Mai Atafo and Emmy Collins London. With pieces that got the crowd on their feet half the time and moves from the models that received aawwss and ooouuhhss! Etisalat showed its strength as a brand that understands the youth market by presenting celebrity models who endorsed the Masterbrand campaign by strutting their stuff on the runway; Uti, Lynxxx, Muna, Alex, Ekubo, Eva, Damilola Adegbite, Bryan Okwara, Eva Adoriah and many more. At the end of the spectacular evening, it was definitely proven that Etisalat isn’t just a network, it’s also an attitude.
