Levi Ajuonuma Dies In Dana Air Plane Crash

The plane crash that occurred around 3.30pm at Iju-Ishaga today in Lagos had Levi Ajuonuma, the former NTA Sunday Show host and the Group General Manager, Corporate Affairs of NNPC on board. We have few other names but we are waiting for their families to confirm first. NNPC already confirmed this. May his soul rest in peace.
 

UPDATE:  It has just been confirmed that late former Vice- President Augustus Aikhomu’s son, Shehu Sa’ad, Director with Mainstream Bank were also passengers of the crashed Dana plane.

.Airplane involved in accident was reportedly Dana Air MD-83 5N-RAM, a former Alaska Airlines plane built in 1990.

.Dana says it is working with NCAA and FAAN to release flight manifest.

.Ehime Aikhomu, son of former Vice President, Late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, was also on board 

the fatal Dana plane.

.10 bodies have been recovered from the 2-storey building with 4 others unconscious.

.A doctor just had to sedate a patient who had a baby two days ago and just heard husband was on the flight.

.Helicopters circling, plane still burning.

 .There are reports that the massive crowd are preventing the emergency team from performing their duties.

BREAKING NEWS: Plane Crashes In Lagos

A plane crash just occurred right now at Iju Ishaga in Lagos. Houses are on fire. It’s a Dana airline and it left from Abuja this afternoon to Lagos. The pictures above are photos from the incident. God please intervene.

UPDATE: Confirmed. No one survived. 153 passengers on board all died. I don't think i can continue with blogging today. I am really in tears. This is too sad. Lord have mercy and console their family members. May their souls rest in peace.
