D’banj will be unveiling his Kokomobile phone come October. The mobile phone as a lot of features on it, and it’s mostly for the youths. Its functions include: MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Google search, Twitter, Facebook, GTalk, GPS and Koko Chat.

14-yr-old Boy Commits Suicide In Ibadan

  Tragedy struck, on Wednesday, at Agbowo, Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, when a 1 4-year-old Mutiu Ade-kunle committed suicide.

The Junior Secondary School (JSS) Three student decided to hang himself at the back of his grand-mother’s house, located at Kola Adedoyin Street, Agbowo, around 12 noon.
A source said, the deceased, who was seen in the morning, had told his elder sister, who was with him, that he was going to the toilet.
According to the source, after a while, the sister decided to check him but found his lifeless body suspended by a rope tied to the roof of a small room behind the building.
As a result of the incident, it was learnt that the grandmother became unconscious and was rushed to nearby hospital where she is receiving treatment.
The mother of the deceased, Bilikisu, who claimed that Mutiu was her first born, added that the deceased was the only child he had for his father, who was identified as Adekunle.
At the scene of the incident, the lifeless body of the deceased was seen hanging, while policemen from Bodija-Oja police station were waiting for the arrival of the father.
At the time of filing this report, elders from the community were working on how the matter would be resolved so that the remains of the boy would be buried.
Most of the residents that spoke about the deceased said, he was seen in the morning and are shocked over his death.

This is a serious issue and I think it’s time for the likes of Kenny Ogungbe, her record label owner to look into this. It’s enough insult on her that Kenny St. Brown, estranged wife of the defunct R&B group, Plantionshion boyz goes around with this lady dressed almost all the time wrong for an occasion and does not care. KSB is a diva who knows how to play her cards right when it comes to fashion. A lot of us can’t stop wondering why she has not put that right with her music sister. I mean if KSB can always come out gracefully, what stops her from dressing Essence up? After all, they always step out together. Essence has been seen several times wearing a jean and a care free top to red carpet events. In fact, that is still good. Did anyone see what Essence wore for her own Album launch? Oh dear that was your day, she looked too far below a music star, anyway that’s for another day. Alright, this is an advice to the people this might concern. Her record label owner, her publicist/manager and yes her best friend, KSB. This is it, Essence needs a total change of wardrobe, a fitness instructor [we are tired of seeing those flesh on her arms], in short a total make over. And if anyone reading this thinks this is just to put her name in the mud, then you are the singer’s number one enemy.

Well, this guy might be known for his mad lyrics and crazy dance steps, but there is sure another side of him. As a matter of fact I think Terry G being online [one of the social networks] has really helped his fans to know that, aside from the free madness thing the ginger your swagga crooner is human, and has got loads of encouraging words for his fans. Can you imagine him dishing out prayers to his fans? Telling them they can achieve the impossible in life? Ok, here’s the shocker, ‘Stay out of trouble and touch a soul today’. Oopppsss! That almost made me faint. Thank goodness that a lot of his diehard fans aside from loving his tracks now have another part of the musician to love. More of this please…No more cannabis preaching.

Osun Youths Support Rotimi Mankinde’s Bid For House Of Rep.

Again, the former Action Congress candidate for the 2007 House of Representatives in Osun State, Chief Rotimi Makinde may throw his hat into the ring to contest for the same post in the forthcoming 2011 elections.
The trained accountant whose entry into politics have commanded a desirable followership is again, pressured by the youths within his constituency to vie for the post presently occupied by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
It will be recalled that the seasoned actor cum politician won the primaries ticket of the party in 2007 but on the day of the election, he was said to have been kidnapped by unknown men, only to be released days after.
A grassroots mobilizer, the dark skinned cum politician revealed that he will contest again if the party decides to field him.
The Chief Executive Officer/ Chairman of Capricorn Hotel, according to his aides have told his supporters and the youths vanguard in his constituency that the party’s decision is supreme as he will deploy all available resources within his capacity to effect a change by shoving aside the PDP in his area for AC to control.
However, the man in one of his interviews revealed that, the party’s decision reigns supreme and he has told his loyalists that elders of the party will field him if they find him worthy for the course.
