Shame on you Mercy Johnson says News of the People Magazine
News of the People exclusively reported that Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson was planning a wedding for August 28, 2011. But no sooner had the story hit the town than the actress in consonance with her erratic publicist went to town to debunk the story. Yet, last week, the actress confirmed that her wedding is actually coming up in August in a four-day-affair starting from August 25 and to be rounded off on August 28 as earlier reported by News of the People. Concerned readers who have been following her stories were stunned last week that what the actress had earlier debunked has turned to be her true story. A particular reader, who craved anonymity, simply described her as a confused lover who is yet to decide on either marriage or spinsterhood.
For Mercy Johnson, she has perhaps bitten more than she can chew as she has once again proved to the whole world that she is a cheap liar. Now stories are flying round that, Mercy will be getting married the same date that was previously quoted by this Magazine. Shameless Mercy Johnson you may say!
It would be recalled that the same Mercy had addressed a cross section of journalists last year where she had personally informed them about her marriage plans one on one. When she sensed that the marriage plans were no longer working as she thought, she quickly ran to her PR Company to quickly discredit what has been written about her. She said she didn’t have a wedding plan. That is Mercy for you.

But how can one be called a black monkey in your father’s land? What our Government is really making us pass through indeed is beyond the words of mouth. If only they truly respect us, and make these white men who invests in this nation [in return make excess profit, which they take back to their country] know that Nigerians shouldn’t be under paid and should be well treated, all these wouldn’t have happened. “We are paid like slaves. We are treated like casual workers, while we are the ones doing all the work. It is a violation of the Nigerian local content policy.
“For a foreigner to come to Nigeria and call us ‘black monkeys’ is an insult to our President and all our leaders because that implies they are monkeys too. It is an insult to all Nigerians.
“We are calling on the Nigerian government to save us in Nigerdock. This place is called Snake Island, but we call it ‘Slave Island,’ because we are nothing but slaves here the way we are being treated.”

According to a reliable source, this year’s Hip Hop awards will be holding in September. And as a yearly routine, the hip hop award is expected to have a new theme song. For this year, fast rising act, whizkid, songstress waje, Iceprince and producer Samklef have been picked to compose a song. According to a source, Samklef already has two beats for the upcoming song, and one was picked today by the coordinator of the hip hop awards. They were spotted at the hip hop world office earlier today as seen in the pictures.

Lies may reign for so long, but one day the truth shall prevail. Who says our football stars don’t listen to Nigerian music, just because they suddenly became international stars? I’m reporting this because it reminds me of an argument between one of Nigerian’s best Music star and a football player who happened to be the ‘in thing’ then. According to the gist, the footballer was quoted to have dissed the musician when he came to show him love at a club overseas, ‘saying I don’t know who you are’. Well, Odemwingie isn’t just a Nigerian footballer, but an international football star, and he was caught singing our very own Iceprince’s Oleku song. ‘Oleku , tell me something wey I no fit do ? Wande Coal On Mo'Hits
Wande Coal has come out to debunk the rumour about him leaving Mo’Hits. The act said this on twitter this morning. There’s something peculiar with artistes, till they leave that record label, they keep saying, ‘no I’m still with the record label and all is well’. Let’s hope its true wande is still staying back, except he has found a bigger record label, then we wish him good luck. It’s been cool seeing the Mo’Hits crew together though, lol.
